For all intents and purposes, Pink Industry was a duo of former Pink Military leader/vocalist Jayne Casey (also formerly of Big in Japan) and bassist/keyboardist Ambrose Reynolds (Frankie Goes to Hollywood). Other contributors came and left with frequency. Continuing in the path that Pink Military was headed during their brief existence, Casey and Ambrose's
group combined the "anything goes" spirit of post-punk with further use
of experimental electronics. Signed to Zulu, they debuted in 1982 with
the Forty-Five EP. The LPs Low Technology and Who Told You, You Were Naked were released the following year. Two years passed before New Beginnings,
which proved to be their final work together. A series of retrospective
packages followed throughout the late '80s and '90s; a self-titled
released on Cathexis got the ball rolling in 1988, followed by 1990's Retrospective on Parade Amoureuse and 1995's New Naked Technologies on Cri Du Chat Disques.

The music could be about to die at Tower Records.
Four major music conglomerates have cut off compact disc shipments and frozen credit lines to the 89-store chain, possibly heralding the end of the brick-and-mortar music superstore.
Tower, which emerged from bankruptcy in 2004, has been hit hard by mass-market discounters like Wal-Mart, Internet music sales and a shift by some consumers to digital downloading. The 46-year-old company, which also licenses 144 stores overseas, has been unable to attract a buyer for its format.
EMI Group, Sony BMG Music Entertainment, Warner Music Group and Universal Music Group stopped sending CDs to Tower stores within the past two weeks after Tower missed debt payments to the companies, according to label sources

You should Know when G4 Media and Comcast Kill Off Tech TV, The TWiT Army DID NOT Bomb the Home Office of Comcast or G4! Leo and Company started their Own Tech Podcasts and/or Video IPTV/Vlog Tech shows for the web. Thats the Differents Between those Lowlife Terrorists and rest of us Civilized Geeks, nOObs and rest of us of the Netizens of the World.
Passengers in the United States are coping with heightened security and flight cancellations at airports Thursday after authorities in London uncovered a terror plot aimed at airlines traveling from Britain to the U.S.
In the wake of the plot, U.S. homeland security officials have raised the threat level for flights between Britain and the U.S. to red, the highest level, for the first time ever, and domestic flights to orange, the second highest level. This will mean big changes for U.S. travelers.

I just install a trial version of Parallels on my system at home. This program is a virtualization software. The Workstation software consists of a virtual machine suite for Intel x86-compatible computers (running Microsoft Windows, Linux or Mac OS X) which allows the simultaneous creation and execution of multiple x86 virtual computers. Each virtual machine instance can execute its own guest operating system, such as Windows, Linux, FreeBSD, OS/2, eComStation, and MS-DOS.

Well it took me three attempts installing google earth onto Kubuntu via Command Line. I spend the longest time in trying in wrestling to figure out how to get this bash konsole thingy to work properly. Also I was able to install Firefox, Java 1.5 and Flash thru bash, But the run time Java 1.5 to not want to play nice and corporate with firefox for some strange reason.
And for Tomorrow Linux Fun, Next up in line, I am going try out SimplyMEPIS.
