Over the years I have read and Heard SMART HD Technology was Not so much smart. and I the long run, This feature would make this worst of the health of the HD. Thank Steve for Explaining the background of the history SMART HD Technology.
Also, Not until HD manufacturers get serious and fix the Quality Control of Failure rate of their higher Capacity Hard Drives. I won't going to buying an 1TB HD from newegg anytime soon.
