WASHINGTON — For all the changes in Major
League Soccer over the past six years, two things remain constant —
Dwayne De Rosario's match-winning ability and the New England
Revolution's playoff heartbreak.
De Rosario, who scored the winning goal in the 2001 MLS Cup final for the San Jose Earthquakes, did it again Sunday, netting the winner for a 2-1 Houston Dynamo victory before an announced crowd of 39,859 in RFK Stadium. And the Houston Dynamo, as they've been known since moving from San Jose, have won two straight MLS titles since moving to Texas.
BOX SCORE:
Houston 2, New England 1
