For me Rather see ATT to  roll out multi HD Streams, More HDTV Linear Channels, Local on the 8's, More local SDTV sub Channels and Multi-Room DVR than theses  ho hum trivial unimportant  U-bar interactive
 feature.

Back when I first in san jose ca. had TCI > ATT Broadband > Comcast. from the old A/B system channel 1A was Starz and Channel 1B was tv! then Movieplex

Years ago in the early 90's I had own an Weird 19" Zenith TV that the CATV tuner could tune into CATV ch 0, 00 and 1. Also the that same Zenith TV CATV tuner went up to CATV Ch 135 not like the standard Ch 125 from other TV manufactures at the time. Back than there were no US Major Cable Company to my Knowledge had their system the built out to 860mhz. Only up to recently Only todays TVs with QAM Digital Cable ready Tuner they can tune up ch 135 or higher for the new 1ghz cable systems that are now been built around the country.

Movie price increase $3.99 to $4.99

Last night I was going to post following "From the All Mighty Comcast Godness red light of all knowledge" Comcast Helps with Netflix to increasing their Button Line by raising their VOD movies PPV prices from $3.99 to $4.99. I find it Ironic that Comcast once again is raising their prices and Netflix recently just lower their monthly rates.

No word from comcast that they are raising the prices from VOD HD movies PPV. I am planning in watching The Simpsons Movie on VOD HD PPV for $5.99

Because of the on going battle between HD-DVD vs. Blu-ray format war. At this point then shell out $250 bucks to buy Blu-ray player then another $23.95 from amazon to purchase the Blu-ray version to watch The Simpsons Movie.

Club looks to repeat as champs in just second year of existence

Nate Jaqua and Dwayne De Rosario scored goals and the Houston Dynamo advanced to its second consecutive MLS Cup final with a 2-0 win over Kansas City in the Major League Soccer Western Conference final on Saturday night.

The Dynamo will face the New England Revolution next Sunday. Houston defeated the Revolution in last year's title match. New England reached its third consecutive MLS Cup final with a 1-0 win over Chicago on Thursday.

Houston dominated at both ends, outshooting Kansas City 11-3. Dynamo goalkeeper Pat Onstad didn't have to make a save.

In a world with 100+ HD Channels There now room for QVC to make the jump to HDTV

Its now Official QVC, the popular home shopping channel, will launch a High-Definition simulcast in the first quarter of next year.

The network did not give a specific launch date today nor reveal any TV providers who will carry it. However, it will be the nation's first shopping channel to go high-def.

"HD is the next logical step in bringing our viewers enhanced programming," said Angie Simmons, QVC's senior vice president of broadcasting and TV sales. "The simulcast will provide stunning clarity, enabling us to bring our products to life."

Former Quakes 2.0 Dynamo defeat FC Dallas to advance in MLS playoffs

Down by a goal and two goals in their aggregate-scoring Western Conference series against FC Dallas, the Dynamo decided that if luck was not on their side after a dominating effort, they would make their own.

"Soccer is a game where you create your own luck," defender Eddie Robinson said.

Did they ever. Brian Ching scored two clutch goals, including the game- and series-winners, and the Dynamo came from behind to pummel FC Dallas 4-1 in overtime Friday night at Robertson Stadium and win their home-and home series 4-2 in aggregate.

The Dynamo await the winner of the Kansas City Wizards-Chivas USA series, which will be decided today with Kansas City leading 1-0.
