For once its nice to see ATT Jumping the gun here in adding place holders for Sound track channel 538, Discovery HD 1120, CNN HD 1202, WGN HD 1211, TLC HD 1250, ALP HD 1252, SCI HD 1258, VS/Golf HD 1640, STKF HD 1908. Still no sign of USA HD showing up here in San Jose. This is one HD Channel I would watch.
But still I am waiting for the day when ATT will provision your internet access speeds base on the distance from your house to the VRAD. Instead of the current cap speeds of 6/1 or later next year of 10/1 Right now my Sync rate to VRAD I am connected to is 54/2. I would be in heaven right now if I had net access at those speeds.
Now grants I would only achieved those speeds if I was not utilizing my bandwidth any HD or SD streams.
[this is good] Does this mean cable channels over DSL? I read they were gonna offer that. All I *really* need is The History Channel! :)
Don't want to pay the monopoly cable company here in San Diego. And satiilite is at least $30 month... I've even bought some programs off the iTunes Store and Amazon, like the new Sci-Fi Channel's re-imagined BattleStar Galactica...
