January 25, 2008 When
I brought home a Roboquad robot the other day and started playing with
it, our resident guardian K9 was none too pleased. I decided to put
Roboquad in "autonomous" mode, set his aggression level to high, and
let the battle unfold. From http://www.demonbaby.com Note: This is the robot acting fully on its own, I was not controlling it in any way. (less) |

I Just notice flipping through the channels tonight ATT has updated their Programming Information Channel. Here are the upcoming channels changes coming to U-Verse.
260 Discovery Time Becomes Investigation Discovery 1/27/08 U-300,400
510 mtvU Launches 2/02/08 U-300,400
3011 Telemundo Puerto Rico 2/02/08 Get Pulled from the Spanish Tier
3503 VHUno 2/02/08 Get Pulled from the Spanish Tier
No Word of any new HD Channels such as USA-HD or Sci-Fi HD.
Also Comcast is shutting down AZN Television, its distribution- and advertising-challenged cable network programmed for Asian Americans. The network will cease broadcasting April 9. I am assuming ATT will Drop this channel as well on April 9.
If only the same fate would happen to G4. Comcast should have pull the plug on this sick puppy of cable network. Now in the year of 2008 http://Revision3.com is new Tech TV.

For artistic value, this has to be one of the best infomercials -- ever! Tired of seat belts digging in? Then maybe the Tiddy Bear is just for you! No joke, this is a real product. You'd think this came straight from SNL.
Why are all the infomercials so Stupid and Pointless? Because people would buy anything this lame.
2 minutes version of the My Lil Reminder infomercial. My Lil'
Reminder(tm) is the digital voice recorder that records without tape,
then reminds you later... fascinating! The infomercial is first shown
in English and then in French. Comedy at its finest in both languages,
folks!
"Vibrating Fitness Rod" turned up some pretty funky websites, let me
tell you. Nevertheless, these descriptions are pretty much spot on, for
all you do with the Bodyblade is hold it (it being the long, metal
blade) in the center and then shake it back and forth. That's it. How
the hell does that constitute a workout? If, by chance, it even causes
you to break a sweat, it's probably less to do with the exercise and
more to do with the realization that you probably can't get your money
back.
The Soloflex is that its resistance band "technology" (I always loved
it when they called it that in the infomercial - as if they invented
rubber bands) provided almost no negative resistance. Being that most
of your muscle-building is done during this portion of the exercise
(this is the lowering portion), you only received half of a workout
.

This just might be historic now that VCRs are dying. Maybe it'll help clean the heads in your hard drives, too! ;-) Oh, and so sorry if you really believed that!

I am going to be like the other Springfield's voters who Recently rejected all the leading candidates In their Resent Primary Election. and embraced Vote for for write-in: candidate Ralph Wiggum.
After Springfield becomes the first city in the nation to hold a presidential primary election, excitement builds as reporters from around the country, including Jon Stewart and Dan Rather, descend upon Springfield to cover the debates. When the candidates turn out to be less than compelling, Kent Brockman announces an unexpected turn of events: Springfield voters rejected all of the candidates and embraced a write-in: notorious bed-wetter Ralph Wiggum!
Immigration – “Stranger danger!”
Government Spending – “I only have this much moneys.”
Party Politics – “Everyone is invited to my party!”
Slogan – “I Dig the Wig”
Ethics – “I’m Ralph Wiggum and I’ve been a good boy.”
Political Appointments – Bart Simpson as the Secretary of Indian Burns and Lisa Simpson as his First Ladle
Foreign Relations – “When we’re mad we’ll use our words. Then the rest of the world will play nice with us. And the only boom-booms will be in our pants.”
