I am going to be like the other Springfield's voters who Recently rejected all the leading candidates In their Resent Primary Election. and embraced Vote for for write-in: candidate Ralph Wiggum.
After Springfield becomes the first city in the nation to hold a presidential primary election, excitement builds as reporters from around the country, including Jon Stewart and Dan Rather, descend upon Springfield to cover the debates. When the candidates turn out to be less than compelling, Kent Brockman announces an unexpected turn of events: Springfield voters rejected all of the candidates and embraced a write-in: notorious bed-wetter Ralph Wiggum!
Immigration – “Stranger danger!”
Government Spending – “I only have this much moneys.”
Party Politics – “Everyone is invited to my party!”
Slogan – “I Dig the Wig”
Ethics – “I’m Ralph Wiggum and I’ve been a good boy.”
Political Appointments – Bart Simpson as the Secretary of Indian Burns and Lisa Simpson as his First Ladle
Foreign Relations – “When we’re mad we’ll use our words. Then the rest of the world will play nice with us. And the only boom-booms will be in our pants.”
[this is good] Love it! Watched this episode yesterday and it restored my faith in the Simpsons' writers.
Indeed.
