To honor Empty Chair Speech / Eastwooding Tonight I am going to listen to  Chairs Missing is the second studio album by English rock band Wire. It was released in August 1978. Although it features some of the minimalist punk rock of the band's debut Pink Flag, it features more developed song structure (taking some cues from 70's prog-rock, psychedelia, and art rock), keyboard and synthesizer elements brought in by producer Mike Thorne, and a broader palette of emotional and intellectual subject matter. The title is said to be  term Clint Eastwood for a mildly disturbed person, as in "that guy has a few chairs missing in his front room

Remembrance of Peg

Hi all,
I just wanted to tell you all that I'm thinking of you and recalling all the love and support we all gave and received 6 months ago when mom passed away.
Although they have been difficult months ( especially over this "anniversary" weekend) the burden of adjusting has been overall easier to bare knowing how much she loved and was loved and how much support John and Jenny and I were given.
I know we all miss her still. I love you all and thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting me and my family.

We've made it official...Lab Rats is shutting down.

Hi all:

We have been talking and we have come to the decision to shut down LabRats production for good. 

Since January we have been working with Revision3 to launch the show on their network. 

However their acquisition by the Discovery Networks earlier in the year has complicated the process and change priorities over there since the deal was struck. 

There was also a need to get our viewer numbers back up to former levels. So it wasn't financially viable for us to continue to produce the show to do that without income coming in. It looked like a long road ahead.

We are both very grateful to them for the work they put in with us and we're disappointed that we couldn't make it work.

We thought long and hard about looking at other options but without income of about $5K per month at a minimum to cover time and costs, it's not financial viable to keep producing the show.

But as we look back over the the history of the show we are heartened by the awesome experience it was. And we are so very thankful for all of you who championed and loved the show. Our fans are our greatest asset!

So its with heavy hearts that we bring you then news that we will be shutting down production. We are going to make an effort to get together and shoot a video goodbye later this summer. 

That said all the episodes will remain up atwww.labrats.tv and on our YouTube channel atwww.youtube.com/labratsland for a long time to come. So we hope you'll join us in celebrating the show with use from time to time by reviewing the back catalog.

And we're not disappearing forever. You can follow us on our personal Facebook pages and on Twitter at @globalhermit and @andywalker. Sean continues to produce video for the web for clients in Toronto. Andy has built the ecommerce company ShopGenius at www.shopgenius.ca. 
He's also making local TV appearances from time to time around technology and wil start to blog around technology and small business athttp://businessblog.bell.ca/ in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, please accept our thanks for being AMAZING fans. And stay in touch!

Well, I knew something was up since there was no new episodes of labrats tv for last mouth. I will miss all the food demos, Andy and Sean, Biff and Boo, Picture Time, all the great Technology help, and of course all the Comedy from the show. I will diffidently miss Labrats tv for sure. There nothing like it on the interwebs.
